What Is God Breathed
Calling You To?

A 7-question journaling guide for the woman who feels the pull of something bigger — and is finally ready to name it.
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10

You already feel it. That pull. That thing that will not leave you alone no matter how many times you try to ignore it or talk yourself out of it.

That is not ambition. That is God.

This journaling guide is not about figuring out a five-year plan. It is about getting honest with yourself and with God about what He has already placed inside you. Answer slowly. Let the questions sit. Write what is true — not what sounds good.

How to use this guide:

  • Find a quiet place — no distractions if possible
  • Read each question slowly before you write anything
  • Do not censor yourself — write what first comes to mind
  • If you get stuck, pray first and then try again
  • Come back to this on multiple days if you need to — this is not a race
Question 1 What is the thing that will not leave you alone? The idea, the dream, the calling that keeps coming back no matter how many times you push it away. Write it down. Even if it sounds too big. Even if you do not feel worthy of it.
Question 2 What breaks your heart that does not seem to break everyone else's? Your calling is often hidden inside what grieves you. What injustice, what pain, what gap in the world makes you want to do something about it? "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." — Micah 6:8
Question 3 What do people always come to you for — without you even trying? The things that feel effortless to you are often your greatest gifts. What do people ask for your help with? What do they say you are good at even when you do not see it?
Question 4 If fear was not a factor — what would you do? Not what is realistic. Not what makes sense. Not what people would approve of. If you knew you could not fail and no one could judge you — what would you actually do? "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7
Question 5 What has your story — including the hard parts — uniquely prepared you for? Your pain is not wasted. Your valley was not a detour. What have you survived that now makes you the exact right person to help someone else through the same thing? "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him." — Romans 8:28
Question 6 What has God already confirmed to you that you keep talking yourself out of? Has He already spoken? Has a Scripture confirmed it? Has someone said something that landed too specifically to be a coincidence? Write it down — all of it.
Question 7 What is one small act of obedience you could take this week toward what God is calling you to? Not the whole plan. Not the finished product. Just one thing. One step. One move in the direction of yes. What is it? "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." — Proverbs 16:3
What did you discover? 💜 "The calling is already in you. It has always been in you. God placed it there before you were born. You are not waiting for permission — you are waiting to believe you already have it."

If this guide stirred something in you — if you feel more clear and more scared at the same time — that is usually a sign you are right on the edge of something God has been waiting for you to step into. A free Misfit Match Call is the next step.

The calling is real. The fear is real too. But the One who placed it in you is greater than both.
